My first tourney win! $10! Yay! And having the honour of sitting opposite John Pipes. actually playing him was a bonus of stratospheric proportions.

I had the honour of sharing a pot at the 1st annual Newcastle Poker Evening with one of the finest Hold 'Em players in the North in the last decade, John Pipes.

If you see John Pipes, run. He will destroy you. He has single handedly put his and my kids through school with his winnings.
