The Chip Twirl Trick

The poker chip twirl trick, also known as the chip spin, is an advanced chip trick that is popular among professional players. The chip twirl can be one of the most difficult poker chip tricks to master, but it is a great deal of fun once you are able to do it perfectly.

Here’s how to do the poker chip twirl trick.

Hold three chips between your ring and index fingers supporting the chips with your middle finger from behind.

Using your thumb, loosen the two outside chips and roll them up until they are above the middle chip and held in place by the thumb and index finger.

Use your ring finger to roll the middle chip out all the way. At the same time, lift your thumb slightly so that the middle chip and outer chips are totally separated. This movement will create a separation between the three poker chips.

While supporting the single chip between your index and ring fingers, place your middle finger on the side of the chip. Now pull back on the chip and let it spin towards your palm. The spin is the most difficult part of the trick and takes a lot of practice to perform it smoothly.

Using your middle finger, spin the chip until it is again even with the two upper chips.

After rotating the middle chip, pull it back in between the other two.

The chip twirl can be a real pain to master and you will need a little bit of dedication.
