WSOP Day 22 - Jon Kalmar

Before I start I need to explain what’s going on. Basically I’m a little tipsy, I have been on the beer since 6pm yesterday and I am writing my blog. It’s about 16 bucks a day for tinternet and when I use it for around 10 minutes it feels pretty dam steep. Therefore, I am trying to do 2 posts a day to save money. It means I sometimes write my stuff after a late night or in this case a late morning. It’s 8.50am.

Just a warning for anyone coming. Breakfast here is not that great (in my opinion anyway). The sausages and dreadful the bacon resembles a packet of crisps called frazzles we all miss from the eighties, and the eggs………………..well, they just can’t cook em.

If you are a southern softy no probs, you can have em poached. (Why, why, why would you crack an egg into a boiling pan of water, what are you doing? It’s just wrong.

Today was a day off. My antibiotics were complete and I am pleased to say I haven’t had a problem with my teeth since tablet one. I was ready for a beer. Neil (Channing), being a southerner himself, obviously never thought anyone would drink anything other than lager. It meant I had to trawl Vegas for liquor stores that sold Guinness. (Boddeeeeees, sorry bodezzzzz, bodies, bodofrans. No chance). After emptying the shelves off 2 of the 3 stores I visited I was stocked up for some real ale and ready to go.

Sorry I am just way too drunk for this, so it I’m off to bed will finish it tomorrow, dam I’ll have to pay the 16 bucks.
