Ruddocks Ladbrokes Poker Challenge...

l have always classed myself as a decent poker player, steady as you go with no thrills. The main trouble l have always found is how to keep my bankroll management in order, being a gambler and playing poker does cause its drawbacks.

Quite often sitting playing poker you look up and see the 3.15 at Lingfield and look down and see no funds in your sports account while you poker account looks healthy and within the space of twenty minutes you have transferred £20 here and £20 there to place on the afternoons racing and then before you know it you have blown half your poker bankroll.

Well l am always one to look to try and do something different and keep me interested and after mentioning on the Krackedkings forum about doing a challenge, l was kindly offered the chance of €100 to do this on Ladbrokes and see if l could make any money between now and the end of the year.

The best thing about this is l will now have to contol myself, l have other accounts where l bet on things but they also have accounts for poker so in some ways you have to take a look at your statements to see how you are doing on both levels..

The aim is to start playing the low level single tables and multi tables and build up through the levels depending on how l am doing.

I will give a detailed plan of how many games l have played each day and what my running total is. At the moment l have decided against playing micro stakes cash. I just feel l need to build the roll up and hopefully l can do that by playing the small low buy ins.
