• Team Ladbrokes’ Peter Eastgate makes it to the final table

Team Ladbrokes’ dream that one of its 118 members would make it to the final table of the Main Event oif the 2008 World Series has been realised.

The 22 year old professional from Denmark reached that goal just before three in the morning Las Vegas time.

It has been an outstanding achievement by a man of relatively little experience.

He will now go to the final in November – already a dollar millionaire.

No famous name made it to the final table and the leading woman Tiffany Michelle, finally fell short.
