Nebuchad in Vegas - Ladbrokes Lounging

I have played a couple of small events since last time, but I have not been lucky in either of them. In one I was out quickly, and in the other I busted late in day one. I actually had a big stack of 45,000 on blinds at 400/800. A shortie limped UTG and I made it 3,000 with A-K. It's folded to the big blind and he makes it 10k with 13k behind. We get it in pre-flop and he shows K-K. I probably should have folded pre-flop here. Anyway the next hand I raise a button raise all-in and he shows K-K against my A-10. I had about average after I lost the first one and im out after the second one :(

I dont know exactly how bad my play was, but I suspect it was pretty bad... or maybe im just result orientated...?

Anway, most of the Ladbrokes players have arrived in Vegas, now and all the crew are here too. It's really nice to meet them all, and I look forward to working and socialising with them during the week.

Yesterday Denise and some guys from the crew and I went out and had a nice dinner at The Wynn. I bumped into Bengt Sonnert shortly after we arrived there, and he seems like a really nice guy. He also joined us saturday when maccio, totto, sunken, kluge, sheriffen, skarpen, hyddan, ramzi, mollander, kiebukka, donnie slasko, kris, and I went out to Pure at Ceasars to party. It was a good party where we started of with a nice barbeque and a little NL play to have some money to party with :).

It was my first party for quite some time, so I got really drunk and almost missed the European Championship final on sunday! Go Spain! I really think they deserved to win, it felt like they were due one.

Today we also had dinner with some guys from the Ladbrokes crew at Picasso which is my favourite restaurant here in Vegas :) Stefan Mattson (22nd in last years Main Event) also joined us.

Earlier the sponsored players had a photo shoot in different places around Vegas. It was kind of troublesome as it was so freakin' hot and we had black Ladbrokes shirts on! To start the day with a meeting with the whole Ladbrokes crew at 09.00 did not make things better! :)

The Ladbrokes team consist of pokergirl, jaffacake, skalie, u_can_try, Andreas Hoivoild, Roy the Boy and now me! I talked to skalie about tournament poker, and he gave me a lot to think about so that's good :) I hope I can pick up some more from him (and others) as we go along.

Tomorrow there is the "Nebuchad signing" in Ladbrokes lounge at the Rio. Its the official signing of me and there are some cool banners with me in the lounge. :)

Later during the week there are some more things I will do for Ladbrokes, and I am required to be in the lounge each day, but it feels good to be able to give something back (I haven't reach a final table yet have I? :) ).
