World Series of Poker - Day Six

It's Day 2A at the World Series, and approximately half of the field will be returning to the felt to take another step towards their aim of finishing in the top 666 spots and therefore the money. Their number will include just one player in Ladbrokes colours, as Trevor "bigTR" Reardon continues his solo oddessy with 44,000 chips. I am reliably informed that he only played Day 1B so he could get exclusive mentions in this column!

All of our other players will be sleeping soundly after their long night out (see video).

It was a case of "sunrise and shine" rather than "rise and shine" for some of our players as they headed out into the night on a trip organised by none other than Jessie May. Having taken in the sights of Vegas by helicopter a few days ago, it was time to travel the strip on the ground, and our players aimed to have a tipple in every bar along the way.

It was a long night, but what better way to see the new dawn, than slightly sozzled at the magnificent Red Rock Canyon? The players were left in awe at the natural beauty of the surrounds - Las Vegas with Team Ladbrokes really isn't just about the poker.

That said, there's always time for a hand or two, as the Ladbrokes Lounge hosted a Team Tournament. Laddies events team member Lucy Sergides captained the victorious side, and team member John "the_Derv" Fletcher won a package to the Ladbrokes Irish Poker Festival in Killarney.
