Welcome to the brand spanking shiny new MTT weekly progressive 2010 MTT Leaderboard.

Why 2010 you ask? Well, if you hadn’t noticed we’re now in 2010 and all the tournaments which contribute to this Leaderboard start at 10 past and 20 to the hour…clever huh?

To find the eight tournaments which count towards the Weekly Leaderboard simply look below. All Buy ins vary from €2.75 to €5.50. An extra €1 fee will go towards the weekly progressive prize pool which will be rewarded to the top 50 Leaderboard finishers at the end of every week. There will be a daily prize on offer to the top dog who scores the most points. For a full breakdown of prizes please click on the link above.

Not only that but when you play in one of the eight tournaments, whether you last one hand or whether you battled it to the very end, then you will be invited to the special 2010 Weekly Tournament held in the following week

How do I earn points?

Every time you place in the top 30% of a 2010 MTT weekly tournament, you will be awarded Leader Board (LB) points. The amount of points varies depending on the buy-in of the tournament, the number of entries and the position in which you finish. Please see the prize page for a full explanation.

The formula used to determine the total points awarded to a player (in the top 30% of finishers) for any given tournament is:

Points = 10 x [sqrt(a)/sqrt(b)] x [1+log(c+0.25)]
Where:
a is the number of entrants
b is the players finishing position (b=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)
c is the buy-in amount in Euros (excluding administrative fee)

The weekly prize pool will be created by the funds generated through play at the 2010 Weekly tournaments.

80% of the weekly prizepool will be paid out to the top 50 placed players in the 2010 MTT Weekly Leaderboard. The prizepool will be updated daily in the Leaderboard and in the table below.

10% of the weekly prizepool will be added to the 2010 MTT Weekly Invitational Tournament where any player who has played just one qualifying tournament in the previous week will be invited to fight it out for a place and cash.

10% of the daily prizepool generated by players in the 2010 tournaments will be paid to the player who finishes the day with the highest number of points. The remaining 90% will then get fed into the 2010 Weekly Prizepool.
