For the fourth consecutive year, Ladbrokes' flagship poker event returns to Ireland and the Irish National Events Centre (INEC) in Killarney. The INEC where the event is held, is at the heart of a hotel and leisure complex, next to the vibrant Killarney town and surrounded by stunning Irish landscapes.

Last year at the Ladbrokes.com Irish Poker Festival, 633 players turned up for the main event alone, and there was also plenty of action on the side events. We saw an exciting mix of our regular online players, local Irish folk and a big group of our Nordic and other international friends putting in an appearance. The winner of the main event, Lars Törngren from Sweden, cashed in €75,000 from a prizepool of over €300,000.

The four day Killarney 2011 event will be held from 29th September to 2nd October and the €550 Main Event will once again have the prizepool guaranteed at a massive €250,000.

In addition to the Main Event, there is also a variety of side events during the weekend.

Ladbrokes online package winners will be staying at the Gleneagle Hotel which is located in the same building as the INEC, or next door at the 4 star luxury hotel Brehon for those who wish to upgrade their package.

Players who qualify for the €550 Main Event Seat only win registration to the Main Event. They do not receive any of the package extras below.

This year, the package is worth €1,000 and now has extra value added. The package includes:

€550 Main Event registration
Three night’s accommodation at The Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on the nights of Friday 30th September, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2011 (the room is for two people and includes breakfast)
€150 expenses. This will be paid in to your Ladbrokes Poker account (and can for example be used for an upgrade to the Brehon Hotel or Gleneagles Apartments or to add extra nights at the Gleneagles Hotel. Please contact the events team for more information).
Transport from/to Kerry airport for Ladbrokes qualifiers staying at the Gleneagles or Brehon Hotel (arranged for flights arriving from/departing to Stansted and Luton on Friday 30th September and Monday 3rd October. Please contact the events team to book your seat).
