Monday 15th October Event 1 Results

Congratulations to __Dolly__ who took first place in last nights LEOCOP Event 1. __Dolly__ managed to beat 629 players to claim the $44,287.65 first prize from a total prizepool of $177,150. abbes19 scooped $26,572.50 for second place with Jocke57 taking 3rd place winning $17,715

A impressive 10 hours of play took place. Very well played to all who took part.

Event 2 Tuesday 16th

Pot limit Omaha $200 buy in with $100 rebuys/add on and a $50,000 GTD prize pool. This tournament had 244 players and greatly surpassed its guarantee to reach $90,400 with the top 20 places being paid.

After 7 hours of play it was eventually pro John "saphire1" Shipley that took 1st prize of $27,120 over "MRBLUE1" who got $17,628 for 2nd place. In the final hand "MRBLUE1" had 7c 10d 2s 9s and "saphire1" Jd 8d 4s 5d – the flop came down Jh 6d 8h to give "MRBLUE1 an open-ended straight draw, and "saphire1" 2 pair.

The players ended up all-in following the flop, and when 8c came on the turn to give "saphire1" a full house, nothing could help "MRBLUE1" on the river which came down as the insignificant 4h.

Event 3 Wednesday 17th

Pot Limit Holdem $200 buy in and half-price rebuys with a $70,000 GTD prizepool. This tournament had 286 runners and reached and passed its guarantee by over $18,000 with a grand total of $88,600 with the top 30 places being paid.

After nearly 8 hours of impressive play, the tournament was finally won by "ambi" who beat (a now no so!) "skint_2004" who won $15,505 for second place. The final hand saw all the chips in pre-flop, with "ambi" holding A-A against 9-9 for "skint_2004". No help fror either player came on the board, and "ambi" scooped the first prize of $24,365!

Event 4 Thursday 18th

The $50,000 GTD Fixed Limit Hold’em $300 buy-in Freezeout had 181 players and made a total prize pool of $54,300 with top 24 places being paid. After 7 hours of play it was eventually "pinkdiva" who picked up the $16,290 first prize and $10,860 went to last year's fixed limit event winner "knubbis" for second place.

A big heads-up pot was won by "pinkdiva" when his As 10d came up against the Kh Js of knubbis. The board gave "knubbis" 2 pair but "pinkdiva" hit a straight on the turn to become a huge chip leader.

A few hands later it was all over when "pinkdiva"’s 8s 8d held up against the Kd 7d of "knubbis", the board missed both players and "pinkdiva" was the LEOCOP Event 4 FLHE champion!

Event 5 Friday

The $500 buy-in Short Handed NLHE Freezeout $100,000 GTD had 244 entrants and made a prize pool of $122,000 with the top 30 places being paid. It took over 6 hours for fuzzy567 to take down the $30,500 first prize after only 4 heads up hands against Goods who got $20,740 for second place.

In the final hand fuzzy567 had Js 9s and Goods had 10s 9d. When the flop came 2d 9h 7s to give both players top pair they got all their chips in and fuzzy567's better kicker was enough to win with the turn and river not helping either player.

Well done to fuzzy567 the new LEOCOP Short Handed champion.

Main Event Saturday and Sunday

The $2,500 buy-in 2 day Main Event NLHE Freezeout $750,000 GTD had 250 players and paid the top 20 places. Day 1 they played down to just after the bubble when the tournament was paused after over 7 hours of play. The final 19 players came back the next day at 16:00 BST and it was eventually pands who picked up the huge $225,000 first prize.

The epic heads up battle was between dilling89 and pands and it all came down to race when Ad 7s came against Ah 5h. It was pands hand that improved slightly when the 7s hit on the flop and with no hearts on the board dilling89's only out was runner runner 5's but it was not to be and pands would take the title.

Congratulations to pands who is our new LEOCOP Main Event Champion and all our other winners.
