It's easy - just join the lobby, available under the offline events tab. If you have any queries you can also contact our cruise team at cruise2011@ladbrokes.co.uk.
The Ship and Cabins
The luxury ‘Oasis of the Seas’ is the first of her class and is the world’s largest passenger vessel. She is part of the fleet operated by the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. At 225,000 tonnes, she is over three times the size of the QEII.
All Cruise Place winners will be accommodated in an ocean view cabin with a balcony. A limited number of suites will be available on a first come first served basis for players who wish to upgrade.
Oasis of the Seas Amenities
The ship features a zip-line, a casino, a mini-golf course, four swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, theme parks and nurseries for children.
Onboard recreational, athletic and entertainment activities are organised into seven themed areas called "neighborhoods":
- Central Park features boutiques, restaurants and bars, including access to the Rising Tide bar, which can be raised or lowered to three separate levels
- It houses the first living park at sea with over 12,000 plants and 56 trees
- The Pool and Sports Zone features a sloped-entry beach pool and two surf simulators
- The Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Centre features a spa for teens
- Boardwalk features a handcrafted carousel, restaurants, bars, shops, two rock-climbing walls, and a tattoo parlor. Its outdoor 750-seat Aqua Theatre amphitheater hosts the ship's largest freshwater pool
- Royal Promenade features restaurants and shops and is viewable from a mezzanine
- Youth Zone features a science lab and computer gaming
Travel Allowance
All Cruise Place winners will have their £950 travel allowance credited to their Ladbrokes Poker account. The qualifier will be responsible for arranging return flights to and from and hotel accommodation (for themselves and guest) in New Ft Lauderdale for the night of 21 January 2011.
Ladbrokes Poker’s Event Management Team will endeavour to provide all qualifiers with information on flight options, and hotel availability within differing price bands, as information becomes available. It is the Cruise Place winner’s responsibility to book and ensure that flights and accommodation is suitable for their individual needs.
For players qualifying before the end of February 2010, credits to Ladbrokes Poker accounts will be made in March 2010. This is the time that flights to Florida from all European destinations usually become available. See terms and conditions for more details.
Ladbrokes Poker Cruise IV – The Festival of Poker
The onboard card room will operate (subject to any contrary instructions that we receive from the ship’s operator) whenever the ship is at sea, but will close for a dinner break on sea days.
Full details of the Festival of Poker will be announced in early 2010, which will comprise a full tournament schedule, Poker Cash Games and Sit n Go’s.
All qualifiers will be registered for the £500 Event 1 or can upgrade to the High Roller £1,500 event - for more details see the cruise schedule here.
