How do I earn Poker Player Points?

Poker Player Points are given for all types of Poker Play on our real money tables whether it be Cash Tables, Sit n Go’s and Multi Table Tournaments.

Cash tables

You can earn 10 points for every $1 in cash rake you generate.

What is rake?

Ladbrokes Poker calculates rake by using the "weighted contributed rake" method. This method is 100% accurate as only active players are allotted rake contribution. Individual contributions are determined in direct proportion to the amount of money players have contributed to the pot. Please note there is no increase in the total rake taken per hand when compared to other rake methods. This is merely a more accurate method in how rake is allocated to individual players.

What can I spend my Poker Points on?

Ladbrokes Poker Points can be spent on Tournament buy-ins or Sit and Go Buy-ins when ‘PP’ is displayed. Alternatively you can use them in our shop or if you are silver club or above you can cash the points in automatically via the poker software by clicking on the Player Club button. (100 Poker points = $1.00 cash). New for August, you can now use your Poker Points to buy in to live events, these can be found in the Tournaments lobby.

You can now spend those Poker Points on just about anything in our Poker Points Store. There are all the poker goodies any poker player would want but you'll also find a whole host of other categories - dressing gowns, headphones, or even a trip into space.

Loyalty Bonus

Ladbrokes Poker Player Club gives players loyalty cash bonuses to repay you for playing with Ladbrokes Poker. Each bonus payment is a portion of the rake paid by each player. The maximum bonus you can receive is 30% this is for our VIP club and is made up of an automatic payment of 20% into your account on the 5th and the 20th of each month and the opportunity to cash in your poker points for a further 10% (see below). A minimum of 3,000 poker points in period 1 is required to trigger the first payment on the 20th of the month.

Period 1 = 1st – 15th of each month (payment made 20th)

Period 2 = 16th – Last day of the month (payment made 5th of following month)

Any players achieving Gold or VIP status at the end of each month will receive the relevant payment if they did not make 3,000 points in Period 1 or Period 2.

If you are a VIP and earn the minimum points required to trigger a payment, your loyalty payment is automatically credited into your account and you will receive a statement to let you know how much you have earned. If you are a Gold player, you will now need to opt-in to receive your monthly payments. All players receive a bi-monthly statement of their poker points balance and the bonus they will receive.

Any players achieving Gold or VIP status at the end of each month will receive the relevant payment if they did not make 3,000 points in Period 1 or Period 2

EG:

• Player earns 12,000 points in P1 and 4,000 in P2 – Player receives 20% payment in P1 against 12,000 points and 20% payment in P2 against 4,000 points
• Player earns 1000 points in P1 and 9,000 points in P2 the total rake back payment will be 20% at the end of the month against 10,000 points
• Player earns 3000 points in P1 and 7000 in P2 player is paid 17.5% in P1 and 20% in P2 PLUS the extra 2.5% for P1’s points
• Player earns 2000 points in P1 and 1000 points in P2 the player will be paid 17.5% at the end of the month.
• Player earns 4000 points in P1 and 2000 Points in P2 player is paid 17.5% in p1 against 4000 points and 17.5% against 2000 points in P2

Ladbrokes Poker Points Terms & Conditions

• All members of the Player Club will receive monthly statements notifying them of their points and bonuses awarded. Customer's who have opted out of Marketing Communications will receive a monthly service announcement.
• The Ladbrokes Poker Points (PP) promotion will run from 9am BST 1st July 2009 and will continue on an ongoing basis, until future communication.
• The value of 1 Poker Point (PP) is USD 0.01 or equivalent in a players’ currency wallet. The exchange rate for PP’s earned in Euros will depend on the exchange rate on the day the PP are being awarded.
• Please be aware that Poker Points are rounded up or down based on the round to even method. This method is also known as unbiased rounding, convergent rounding, statistician's rounding or bankers' rounding.
• Only fees generated at real play cash and tournament tables will generate Poker Points (PP).
• Players will not earn Poker Points (PP) for participation in a tournament where ‘tokens’ from qualification-style tournaments have made up any part of the buy-in or entrance fee.
• Poker Points (PP) will not be awarded for any tournament entrance fee that has been redeemed through Poker Points (PP) already accrued.
• Poker Points (PP) are non transferable and can only be redeemed by the player they were issued to.
• Accounts that are inactive for three consecutive months will have their points reset to zero. Inactive for this purpose means a player has not played a real play Cash/ Sit and Go or MTT game
• Ladbrokes Poker reserve the right to use customer’s nickname and/or first name and last initial for use in reasonable amount of marketing and/or future promotions.
• This offer is only available to real money customers who have made a real money deposit at Ladbrokes Poker. Guest play does not count towards Poker Points (PP).
• The promoter reserves the right to reclaim Poker Points (PP) already accrued, if customers are found to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Promotion. In such instances, the promoter may terminate the player’s eligibility to participate in the Promotion.
• The offer is available to genuine players who are participating in games with the intention of winning pots. Any players who attempt to abuse the offer will forfeit the right to claim Poker Points (PP).
• The promoter reserves the right to modify, alter, discontinue or terminate this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever without notice to players, using reasonable efforts to provide such notice in advance.
• Ladbrokes Poker reserves the right to cancel, remove or refuse this promotion. Ladbrokes Poker further reserves the right to alter both the amount and the structure for earning points at any time.

Terms & Conditions for automatic Cash Reward payments

• The % payable will be based upon the players play in that given month.
• Payments will be made as follows:

• Period 1 = 1st – 15th of each month (payment made 20th)
• Period 2 = 16th – Last day of the month (payment made 5th of following month)

• To qualify for the VIP Club, you must earn over 10,000+ Poker Points. You will then have access to the vip customer service email and telephone, will receive newsletters, offers and promotions exclusively for the VIP Club for three months. This excludes the VIP Loyalty bonus, which will only relate to your previous month's play. You therefore need to ensure you earn over 10,000+ Poker Points each month to receive the full 30% loyalty bonus and VIP Club benefits.
• You do not have to be a contactable customer to become a VIP, however many of the promotions and offers we give to our VIPs will be sent through email and telephone, so it is in your best interest to receive these.
