Steve "5K2'' Davis
Long time Ladbrokes legend and half decent snooker player Steve Davis is back playing at the tables and waiting to take you on. The six time World Snooker Champion has scored some prolific results in his fledgling poker career. At the 2006 WSOP Main Event, Davis finished a very creditable 579th, comfortably making the money. In 2008, Steve "Interesting" Davis went even further in the Main Event finishing in 389th netting a cool $28,950. A student of the game of poker, Davis has consistently performed well in Las Vegas and again this year going deep in WSOP Event 56.
Steve Davis came to prominence in the early 80's winning his first snooker ranking title in 1980 and picked up the first of his World titles in 1981 defeating Welshman Doug Mountjoy 18-12 in the final. In 1985, Steve Davis was took be part of snooker folklore when losing 18-17 to Dennis Taylor in what is now known as the black ball final. Over 18.5million people tuned in to watch the epic match which went on into the early hours at the Crucible.
In his snooker career Steve Davis has been the number one ranked player for an incredible 7 years picking up 28 ranking titles with career winnings in excess of £5m. This year (2010), Davis was again the main focus of events at the Crucible defeating World Champion

Wearing the Ladbrokes colours when in Vegas appears to have bought the master cueman ample good luck and he has never been one to relinquish the opportunity of a ticket to the legendary Ladbrokes Poker WSOP parties. A gentleman at the table, Davis is also the first to mix with poker players learning from them and discussing bad beat after bad beat over a few beers in Sin City.
