World Darts Championship

Exclusively for Ladbrokes Poker VIPs we have secured tickets for the world’s richest darting competition which will be held at Alexandra Palace in London where players will be competing for the £1million prize fund. LadbrokesPoker.com is very excited once again to be hosting a fun filled evening with an introduction to darts and betting advice accompanied by a healthy dose of Champagne.

The excitement starts with players stepping up to the Oche and the announcement of Game on. This is followed by some Diddling for the Middle, and either a Happy Meal or Two Fat ladies! You can’t have your Aces Cracked however you can be Busted, regardless we know whatever is seen that night it will be different and an enormous amount of fun. See Dart definitions below.

Tournament starts on Friday 18th Dec 2009 and the final will be held on the eve of Sunday 3rd Jan 2010.

We have tickets available for the following sessions:

Sat 19th Dec - Evening session, 7pm
Sun 20th Dec - Evening session, 7pm
Mon 28th Dec - Evening session, 7pm
Tue 29th Dec - Afternoon session, 1pm
Wed 30th Dec - Evening session, 7pm

For identification purposes, upon arrival you will be issued with a wrist band which we would ask you to wear at all times during the event. This will prevent any potential problems with access to the hospitality area.

Dart definitions:

• Ace(s) - The double one in '01
• Bust(ed) - Scoring too many points when trying to finish an '01 game
• Cracked - Hitting a single when aiming at a double
• Diddle for the Middle - Throwing at the bull to decide which player will throw first
• Game On - A call for silence at the start of the game
• Happy Meal - A score of 69
• Oche - The throw line (pronounced 'ockey')
• Two Fat Ladies - Scoring 88 points in a throw
