Poker HÃ¥ndrangering

Alle pokerspill, skulle det være texas holdem poker, omaha poker, seven card stud poker, 5 card draw poker eller 5 card stud poker har alle én ting til felles, håndrangeringen.

Alle 5 pokerspillene, uavhengig av om man spiller live-, eller online poker eller på kjøkkenbordet hjemme bruker de den samme måten å bestemme håndverdiene på. En spiller kan vente en hel kariere på å få en «Roayl Flush», mens en annen spiller kan få det på den første hånden de spiller, men i det lange løp er dette uvesentlig ettersom det er viktigere hvordan man spiller alle hender over tid enn hvordan du spiller «the nuts»(beste hånd mulig) som avgjør om du er en god pokerspiller eller ikke.

Det er ingen forskjell på de forskjellige «suits» (hjerter, kløver, ruter og spar) og det er kun verdien av kortene som teller.

Over har vi en håndrangeringen som starter med den sterkeste hånden i poker, Royal Flush og nedover.

J5 : Motown ( Jacks and Fives – say fast ), Redmond Special.

T7 : Bowling Hand (seven-ten is the big split in ten pin bowling) Daniel Negreanu (hand has to be off-suit).

75 : Heinz (57 varieties), Ketchup.

74 : Double down (Blackjack reference for doubling your bet when dealt 11).

73 : Hachem (Joe Hachem flopped a straight with this hand in the WSOP 2005 to win it all).

72 : Beer Hand (You play it if you are leaving the game and getting the beers; frames 2 and 7 in ten pin bowling are the ‘beer frames’), The hammer, The Worst Hand in Poker, Teddy Lee.
