The 2007 Ladbrokes Pub Poker Championship came to an exciting climax on December 9th, at the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in Paddington, London. After winning a wild card seat in the live final, “Tolekim” battled away for 4 hours to beat 19 other finalists and be crowned 2007 Ladbrokes Pub Poker Champion.

Tolekim was representing The Royal Oak in Kirkdale, Liverpool, and he and his guest joined the landlady Paula Brennan and her partner on the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise. Congratulations to all 20 finalists and their supporters, who enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon at the Ladbrokes Casino in London. All pubs that were represented in the final will also be receiving free Ladbrokes Pub Poker Packs!

The action gets underway with the 20 finalists on two 10-seater tables.

Play began cagily early-on...

...but the chips soon flew into the middle!

"Game18lws" from The Pub Poker Championship's top pub, The Kiln Bar in Scalloway,
was first out.

The final 9-player table is formed...

"sharkie_21" from our second-placed pub The Grenadier came 9th.

"F-L-O-P" came down in 8th in her first live tournament.

"stabster" finished in 7th...

...with well-known Ladbrokes regular "thelodger" in 6th

"gruf00" went deep into the tournament, finishing 5th.

"avongirl" was the top female finisher, coming fourth....

...while her The Britannia stablemate "kippe666" came in third.

"sammyb" just missed out on the fantastic cruise trip for him and his pub, The White
Swan, coming 2nd.

"Tolekim" grabs the spoils! Congratulations!
